Health Economics, Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)

The interdisciplinary bachelor's programme "Health Economics" provides students with sound specialist knowledge in economic sciences (business administration and economics), medical management and health sciences. Students learn to recognise social and socio-political problems, to analyse concepts in the field of health care and to develop their own proposals for solutions to health economic problems.

As one of the leading auditing and consulting firms in the German healthcare industry, KPMG regularly recruits interns and graduates in health economics from the University of Bayreuth. The interdisciplinary knowledge of the Bayreuth health economists is particularly valuable for consulting and auditing in the healthcare sector.

This degree programme is taught in German.
