Unit II/2 – Procurement
Matters of procurement such as the purchase of office materials, media equipment, equipment for teaching and research, chemicals for all facilities and research groups of the University of Bayreuth, and much more, as well as inventory management, are the responsibility of Procurement. The area also includes the business supplies warehouse and the chemicals warehouse. Office supplies, paper, writing utensils, batteries, cleaning materials, and other everyday items are stored in the business supplies warehouse. The chemicals warehouse is responsible for storing chemicals, acids, alkalis, laboratory glassware, and other small laboratory materials. If you have any questions about tenders or customs matters, please contact the Central Purchasing Office.
