Health Economics, Master of Science (M.Sc.)

The healthcare sector is one of the fastest growing sectors of the 21st century. However, demographic change and advances in medical technology in developed countries are leading to scarcity problems, and require the most efficient possible use of resources in health systems. We are therefore looking for experts who, under these conditions, are in a position to further develop and shape the health care system in economic and social terms. This is where the Master's programme in "Health Economics" comes in.

Michael Gebhard, Boston Consulting Group
The integrative perspective of Bayreuth health economists is exactly what we need to actively shape the health care system in our projects.

Michael Gebhard, Partner, Managing Director at The Boston Consulting Group GmbH (Munich) / Health Economics alumnus of the University of Bayreuth
